Dr Jessica Collins is a Research Fellow in the Pacific Islands Program at the Lowy Institute, currently undertaking a Pacific Aid Map project to analyse financing trends for Pacific women's development. Other research interests include Pacific women in politics and remittance policy.

Prior to joining the Institute, Jessica completed a PhD in Anthropology (Queensland University of Technology) and a Master of Global Development (Griffith University). Her Honours project (Queensland University of Technology) involved research with the Samoan diaspora in Brisbane and her undergraduate studies (University of Sydney) focused on Pacific anthropology.
